THE LEGACY OF MYOPTIC

From the days of Insight Optical in Nashua Mall (with the t-shirt kiosk!) Myoptic has always been an experience built around human connection and stories.

Our History: Respect the Roots

Myoptic started with one man — Bob. He built this space with steady hands, sharp vision, and a deep connection to the community. For years, it was Bob’s care, skill, and no bullshit approach that made Myoptic more than just an optical shop — it became a neighborhood staple. Around here, people still speak of him with real love and respect.

When Elena and Blue came into the picture, they knew they were stepping into something special. They didn’t come to erase what was — they came to build on it. To them, Myoptic isn’t just a business; it’s a story. And they proudly call themselves chapter two.

Today, Myoptic is where legacy meets new energy. The foundation Bob laid is still at the heart of everything — from how we treat our clients to how we design our space. We are simply continuing the story, with deep respect for where it started and big vision for where it’s headed.

BOB CAGEN: THE MAN. THE MYTH. THE LEGEND

Bob ran Myoptic in downtown Nashua for over 30 years, and he owned that corner of the world. This shop wasn’t just his business, it was his second home, his third child. To Bob, clients weren’t just clients, they were family. If you knew Bob, you felt that energy. He made you feel seen, feel special, like you mattered. He rocked his own style and had a taste for the finer things—high-end whips, clean fits, and his loyal pups. He was a regular at Mike’s Italian and Stella Blu, always surrounded by good vibes and close friends. Wherever he went, he lit up the place—people knew his name, and he knew theirs. A sunny day, a drink in hand, posted up outside? That was Bob’s definition of living. One of a kind. All heart. Always missed.

DANIEL KELLY: OPTICIAN. STYLE ICON. NASHUA ORIGINAL.

Daniel's vibe was effortless but intentional—sharp wit, next-level creativity, and that clean, unforgettable style. He was always posted up on Main Street with a smile, holding it down for Nashua and hyping up every small business around him. His loyalty ran deep—family, friends, and clients alike became part of his circle, and if you knew him, you felt that love. Daniel left a mark on this city, this shop, and every person who walked through our door. His legacy lives on in every frame we fit, every laugh we share, and the beautiful community of the Remembering Daniel Patrick Kelly Facebook group
